Anglo America and lattin America.

Anglo America and South America are very alike and very different in many aspects.  First of all, Anglo America has had a stable democratic government for over 200 years.  We operate under a government that allows us to vote, and we have freedom.  In Latin America, the government has been experimenting with different types of government, and they are just now starting to become a democratic nation.  Politically, Anglo America is much more developed than Latin America because they are stable and successful, whereas, Latin America is just now starting to stabilize.

Also, Anglo America has a market economy where the citizens are allowed to buy whatever they want. The majority of people have jobs in the tertiary or trading sector, which show that Anglo America has a developed economy. However, in Latin America, they have had a difficult time developing a stable economy. The majority of people in Latin America also have jobs in the tertiary sector.  They are on their way to becoming a more stable economy. In Anglo America, people are allowed to create businesses, but in Latin America, the government has to give permission to allow the citizens to create businesses.  The two economies are very different.  Economically, Anglo America is more developed and prosperous than Latin America.

Lastly, Anglo America was mainly settled by the British, so most of the people are caucasian and speak English.  Latin America was settled by the Spanish, so most of the people are caucasian or native and speak Spanish.  Also, in Anglo America, various forms of Christianity are practiced.  In Latin America, the majority of the population practices Catholicism because the Spanish taught the religion to the natives, so it transcended over the generations and is now a big part of their culture. Socially, Anglo America and Latin America are very much alike in religion and ethnicity.
